Award-Winning Design

I had the honor of designing the Memorial Library and Meeting Room for the Long Island Taiwanese Church in Long Island, NY. This design won 2nd place in the International Dream Room Contest in the Office/Commercial Spaces Category.

Due to the locale, I chose to use a coastal theme with bright, cheerful colors and ocean-themed accessories and art.

The project scope included new furniture, carpet and custom window treatments. The space needed to be able to accommodate multiple uses, including after church meetings, movie nights, social gatherings, etc. The Library had an extensive collection of donated books and is meant to be a quiet and contemplative space for its users.
